U.S. Embassy
We were taken to the U.S. Embassy today for the purpose of securing Ethans visa so he can travel to the U.S. The embassy was very secure as we had to go through two security checks before even reaching the Visa Adoption area. They actually confiscated one of Ethans toys because it was electronic.
The adoption area, which was extremely hot, was filled with about 25 other american families with the kids they were adopting, it was a mad house. Most of the kids were well behaved but a few seemed out of control(their adoptive parents were working hard). Ethan, being the bundle of joy he is, was well behaved . He was just taking it all in with amazement. Over the 2 hr process he did not fuss one time. All went well and his Visa will be delivered to the hotel on Wednesday.
Ethan seems to be adjusting extremely well. We have found that he does not like water. Everytime we put him in the tub for his bath he goes crazy crying and kicking. When I took him to look at the hotel fountain he was fine watching from a distance but when we got close he started to cry. Maybe he related the pool of water with his bath time.
We have a free day today so we will be doing some sight seeing, we will be referring to Daddy Reg often(oh I bet Daddy Reg would like this). Daddy Reg can sight see for hours.

All is well on the homefront. Logan and Christian are doing great but very excited about their new brother coming home. We are all glad to hear everything is going well. Oh, the dogs are fine too!!lol
Caron and I went Ethan shopping yesterday. We bought a walker and a jumper (we can take back one if you don't want both). We also bought a bath chair. Maybe this will help him with his fear of water and make his bath easier and more fun. We also bought a few other things. Sure wish we knew what you needed to make your arrival at home less complicated. She and I had fun and had to restrain ourselves. We wanted to buy everything for our little sweetheart.
I'm glad you have time to sightsee. Please enjoy yourselves and have a happy time with your new bundle of joy. We are looking forward to meeting him on Thursday. Only Caron, Reg and I will be there. Caron does not let us get far away from her after Reg's surgery. She has been so good to us.
We love you all so very much!
What a precious picture--a little angel. I cannot wait to give him hugs and kisses!!! Hearing from you all and seeing pictures of Ethan have given Mommy Pat, Daddy Reg and all of us so much joy, hope and love. May God bless you all--Always!!!! We Love you!!!!!
Just a bit of good news from home...we took Logans training wheel off her bike and she can ride on two wheels for a short distance!! She is so excited to show you what she has learned. She is very determined to get it down so she can show you when you get home. You would be very proud! I was pretty excited about the whole thing. The last time she did really well, I got so excited, I screamed and it scared her and she lost her balance! But that didn't phase her. We are going to practice again after school! So get ready for a big girl riding on two wheels when you get home!
Just wanted to let you know that Logan is now the OFFICIAL rider of a two wheeler! She is doing so great. She can pretty much go up and down the street with no stopping. (except for when I scream with excitement, then it spooks her and she has to stop!)She can not wait to show you how well she can ride all by herself!
