Final Day in Omsk
It is 9:00pm Friday in Omsk (10:00am Friday in NC) and we are packing to leave tomorrow. It is bittersweet as we are leaving Ethan but we are also missing Christian and Logan more than words can say. We had two great visits with Ethan today. We finally got a smile out of him which the nurses say is probably his first (thanks Kathy the suggestion worked). It is very hard to leave him but we know he is in good hands with the nurses at the hospital and the caretakers at the orphanage. He should be back in the orphanage in a few day's. Our return trip to bring him home will be in 1 to 3 months. That trip will last atleast 14 days.
Michelle and I would like to thank everyone who made wonderful comments. It was great to hear the support of family and friends. Since We have not had a conversation with anyone who speaks english this entire week it was refreshing to read the comments from those back home in the good old USA. The final picture is of Michelle and I in front of the frozen Irtysh river.

We pray that God will send his angels to protect the two of you as you travel home and I know an angel will stay with little Ethan as we have to depend on God to protect him until you can return.
We are looking forward to talking with you when you get home.
Much love, Mom
Hi you guys,
Welcome back. Guess you have been busy since returning! That's the part about traveling that we forget....catching up when we get home! If you get a chance, post a message and let us all know how you are doing. I know you must be anxious. But, hey, it has already been one week! Any idea on a court date yet? We are all anxious for you to be the parents that he needs. We love th e pictures through out your journey. That was great fun to keep up with each day. We could hardly wait to open the blog each day. Hope all is well. I know th girls are glad to see you.
